BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for entering and maintaining all spot cable media schedules for all assigned Account Executives with a heavy emphasis on electronic ordering, negotiation and input of makegoods and ratings capture. Thorough knowledge and practice of accurate order stewardship and business process is required. Client and customer focus is crucial.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Daily meetings and/or ongoing communication with assigned Account Executives and designated Manager to review priorities and set timelines.

Order entry of spot cable media schedules into Strata View with accuracy and efficiency, while following applicable guidelines and procedures in relation to electronic ordering.

Work with assigned Account Executives to ensure accuracy of orders that were inputted prior to sign-off and transmission.

Transmit approved orders from Strata and verify that the order is available and accurate on The Spot.

Communicate daily with cable systems and advertising agencies to ensure that all orders are confirmed within 48 hours.

Enter, steward and confirm all revisions/makegoods timely and accurately following established procedures, while capturing appropriate ratings.

Troubleshoot with cable systems and advertising agencies to ensure that schedules run as ordered. Reconcile schedules including makegoods, discrepancies, tape/traffic issues etc.

Usage of Research applications with an understanding of basic media math, ratings and different methodologies.

Pulse appropriate orders to compare estimated versus actual ratings and compile reports for Account Executives and designated Manager.

Post designated orders according to agency timelines and specifications using the Intranet Posting Application.

Assist in researching and resolving out of tolerance issues in relation to pulsing and posting and invoice discrepancies.

Work with other departments within NCC as needed.

 

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Must have thorough understanding of the work flow between the Account Executive, cable system and advertising agencies.

Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently with both cable systems and agency clients is essential.

Accuracy, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to solve problems are essential.

Excellent written/oral communication skills required.

Must be able to meet strict deadlines.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications.

Previous experience working in a professional office-setting preferred.

College degree preferred, not required.

Ability to work overtime as required.
